I'm a little burnt out. Here is how my second team shook out. 12 team league and are REQUIRED to draft 2 QB, 4 RB, 4WR, 2 TE, 2 PK, 2 DST....but we start 1, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1 respectively. QB: P. Manning, T. Hasselbeck RB: R. Grant, A. Foster, C.J. Spiller, R. Williams WR: D. Driver, D. Bowe, B. Edwards, M. Massaquoi TE: D. Clark, T. Heap PK: S. Gostowski, R. Gould DST: Pittsburgh, Green Bay Very even league. Nobody screwed up (except by brother-in-law, who took the Jets D with the 24th pick). Even his team looked OK in the end. Overall, I think I'm OK with this team.
Everything is solid or better...except those WRs...ugh. You'll have an advantage at QB and TE most weeks (except Indy's bye week of course), and you should match up well at RB most of the time, especially if Foster blows up. However, I wouldn't be surprised if that was one of the 3 worst WR groups in the league. Get your trade on!
Yep...that is the problem with 12 team leagues. You need to make choices and usually 1 position suffers. My WRs do blow. However, in this league, the dominant positions are QB, RB, and DST. You can usually get by with mediocre WRs. Plus, I am of the mind that WR is the most fixable position in FFL. If you have a problem at RB or QB you are screwed....but there are usually serviceable WRs available through free agency. Rice, Mason, Manningham, Collie, Cotchery, and Burleson didn't get drafted.
