    The CB position has gotten to be a mess. Don't know if we'll have the luxury to address it in the 2026 draft. It was only a few weeks ago that I felt very confident going into 2026 season w/the following at the CB position;
    - Brandon Stephens
    - Azareye'h Thomas
    - Jarvis Brownlee

    But Thomas has gotten hurt a couple of times & Brownless has missed multiple games. The backups concern me big time.

    For safety - Malachi Moore was great value as a late 4th rounder. The guy is a tackling machine. The other side has been a horror show. Caleb Downs would definitely fix a lot & might be right in the 5-7 area of the 1st round. Would be hard to add yet another rookie to the mix. I'd like us to get our hands on CB Eric Stokes from LV in FA.

    This might sound stubborn or sour grapes but Glenn & Mougey made their bed with this cornerback group. They signed Stephens, traded for Brownlee & Taylor (albeit light investments) and took (reached?) Thomas in the 3rd.

    I’d like to see them make this room work. We badly need a free safety. I think that would make Moore better.

    Safety is really hard to scout in college IMO. They’re probably better if you don’t hear their name on the broadcast.

    I like what I’ve heard reported out of Kamari Ramsey out of USC. When the broadcasts were discussing him being out vs. Oregon it was a big deal because he calls the defense. Not a lot of impact plays though.

    AJ Haulcy (LSU) has been a ball hawk at two different schools now. LSU doesn’t generally need to go to the portal to get good defensive backs and they went and got this kid. I’m very intrigued by him.
