I have read a few places that the Broncos want one of the top 3 Qbs in the draft. Would you trade the 4th overall for their 15th and 22nd. I believe I would. That would give us five picks in the top 35. We could really fill in some voids. The only drawback is when all the contracts expire at the same time. Thoughts?

Jake Plummer is only 31 and as a QB, thats not that old. He easily has 5 or 6 years left playing well, why would they draft a QB this year? More likely is them trading up to get MArio Williams if New Orleans does not take him.

The Broncos have a HC capable of winning a SB. I agree Williams would be a great player for them but Shanahan may not be as high on Plummer as you think?

that's an interesting proposition, but I myself am hoping for one of the top three QBs, so I wouldn't do it. But at the same time, the more (picks) the merrier.

Plummer is interception prone he will never change, QB's who are ok to good occasionally have one season that plummer had, rarely have 2, look at vinny.

You'd have to do that. It would give us 4 picks for players with a 1st round grade. That's how you rebuild an organization and lay the foundation for a championship caliber team.

I would absolutely do that deal. It is exactly what the Jets need.
I dont want to move up the draft and want to keep the #29 pick which hopefully will be Mangold.
#15 & #22 will give us 2 more players who could start right away. Players like Ngata, White, Giles or Justice could be available at those spots.

We aren't getting Ngata with the 15, we might not be able to get White with the 15.

Then there is Giles or Justice. I am not too familiar with the players who might be available at that spot but I am sure that there are more than a handful that can step right in for us.

That is about what we traded to CHicago a few years ago for the #4 spot, so I'd expect a little more than 15 and 22, maybe a 4th rounder to sweaten the deal. I'd probably do this trade, but I kinda like having #4 and now 29. We can draft one of the elite this year and also pick up another guy in the 1st.

I say we trade down to the 9th pick and get v. davis and the lions 40th pick
Take mangold at 29 and lawson at 35 with the 40th take Thomas Howard
we build a strong defense while slightly improving our offense. We can pick up the tacke ashworth and play him on the right side
