back to the terry bradway days of taking db after db and ignoring the OL and DL. nicks would have provided ideal ol depth.

Not for nothing, but Nicks' college head coach is now on our staff. If he really thought Nicks was a steal at that position, he would have stepped up and said so.

Regardless of the upgrades we made in the offseason, our o-line depth is pretty thin. Not to mention that Woody is hardly a long term solution at RT or RG. I would've liked to see us take Schuening or Nicks.

Callahan knows all about Nicks, that's true.

But Nicks also got in trouble recently in college because of a physical altercation he was involved with.

Apparently, this didn't help his character rating a whole lot.

  5. I agree that OL/DL has been completely shunned by bradway in the later rounds... However Nicks has fallen DRASTICALLY off many people's draft boards. Why? Character issues, weight issues and the fact that he didnt even start that many games in college.

Roy Schuening wouldve been a fantastic pick, IMO.

Gonna go out on a limb here and say Nicks won't get drafted... just a feeling though... you may get to see him here as an undrafted FA
