Should the Jets retire Mangini's jacket with Weeb?

    Seriously, the guy sent us a franchise QB and WR in the span of 6 months for:

    A back-up QB
    A 2nd string safety (on our depth chart)
    A DE who didn't fit our scheme (who was replaced in FA)
    Exchanging 1st rd picks and 2nd rd pick
    Our 3rd slot WR (don't worry about the slot, I think Keller will be in their now alot more like Dallas Clark)
    and 3rd/5th pick next year

    Actually, maybe we should write in to the Sporting News to nominate Mangini for Executive of the Year for the NY Jets.

    Now, if Mangini can give the Jets a first and a third for Vernon Gholston.......His Jacket should be dipped and Gold and hung right next to the Jet Fans Game Ball.

    i'm wondering how much sending a talented player to mess with bellichick has to do with this... or if it was more the drama/not a mangini kinda guy. to be clear i'm not saying his main goal was this, but i'm wondering if it at least crossed his mind.

    If the Jets win the SB this year Mangini definitely needs to be considered a part of the success.

    Maybe Mangini is a plant. Tanny knew he couldn't coach so they sent him over to a garbage team to take their talent and picks. He will get fired and move on to another garbage team, until the Jets are able to take their 1st rounders and talented players while sending our sub-par and later round players. Brilliant move Tanny!!!
