Im Predicting At least 8-8 or 9-6 with a wildcard berth... I know we are quote unquote lacking in the receiver dept but to me this gives us a chance to birth a new superstar and be under the radar.... I honestly thought our Defense looks pretty good we were getting alot of pressure in comparison to the Mangini and Edwards era, very reminiscent of the Donnie Henderson days when we let the dogs off the leash to go crazy... During the preseason they were mixing and matching plus throwing the second and third string in the game thats why alot of points were scored.. The ravens game was a good showing for the most part because the ravens D is good but we hung in there. So this might be a sign of the change of times. I was a little skeptical about the decision for Sanchez to start but i guess its make or break now or never type of a deal... He definantly does sit back like a dead duck when theres nothing there he looks like he just focuses down field for a play and thats hard to teach...
8-8. Tough schedule and tough division will prove too much for a playoff push. This season can be considered a success if: Sanchez shows flashes and the defense plays to potential.
19-0 Super Bowl Champs. the second perfect season. Hell, we are already undefeated. We just need to keep up the momentum.
8-8 for me, too. Sheppard is one possible weak link. Gholston another. On the O, lean on Leon. Hand it off to him, throw to him, hike it to him, whatver. But keep him in and turn him loose.
8-8, Sanchez shows lots of flashes and silences all the doubters and proves that he will be the QB to lead us to the promise land in the near future. Gholston plays relatively well, Washington proves his worth to the team when given enough touches and Jets defense finishes top 10 overall However, the tough schedule and obvious growing pains with a rookie QB will lead the Jets to lose half their games this year
I believe that we will end up 6-10 or 7-9. We have a tough schedule and a numbwer of fairly gaping holes.
I think we will have enough defense and offense to eek out 7 or 8 wins. 9 if everything goes right. Losing Pace for 4 games and Ellis for one is certainly going to make it hard though.
9-6 is possible if there's a strike. The 1987 season was only a 15 game season due to the players strike. My prediction is 7-9
7-9. I don't think our Defense is all it's cracked up to be. And the Pace suspension will really hurt us the first 4 games. Sanchez will have his ups and downs as all rookies do. Next year we need a big-time WR, a solid #2 CB and some depth on the OL and DL.
I think 10-6. I have some rose coloured glasses on no doubt but this team has made a real believer out of me. I think our RB will prove to be too much for other teams to handle. I know Jones has not been so impressive this preseason but he will bring it when the reg. starts. 10-6 a wildcard birth for the NYJ this year.
to be honest, I don't know if 10-6 gets a wildcard berth in the AFC this year. The afc is loaded. Pats, Colts, Steelers, Ravens, Titans, Chargers are all going to be just as tough this year, last year the Dolphins won the AFCE so you can't sleep on them. I feel the Texans are ready to put it together this year, and to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised to see another 11-5 team on the outside looking in....
