I've always loved Sports Illustrated. All throughout my childhood during the 1990's and into the early 2000's my mom subscribed through both SI & SI for kids for me. I still have every single one of them put up in boxes. I hated reading in school with a passion but with Sports Illustrated, I loved it I'd read them front to back. Cover to cover. Damn do I miss those days. Pretty neat to see S.I showing us some 2018 love. I remember growing up and before the internet existed I always looked forward to the Football Season Previews before the season were under way, where their writer's would break down every team division by division with each teams up coming schedule. Damn. So many memories.
They're on crack. The Steelers will not and have not ever beaten the Cheatriots in Foxbro for the AFC championship.
We’re obviously somewhere between s.i. and espn’s rankings . I think s.i. may be closer though. The afc is weak
This is incredibly clairvoyant. No matter how well Sam plays this year there will be Jets "fans" bitching about how the team would be better with Teddy starting. Well played, sir.
this^ the steelers and pats are still 2 of the best teams in the NFL as they have been for the past 10+ years. The texans will be really good if watson stays healthy as well. the jags still have a dominant D and fournette. chargers are primed to break out now that their D is better and rivers doesn't need to carry the team. Raiders should bounce back as well from a poor 2017 season. The NFC has a ton of good teams and should be less balanced. i can see the NFC playoffs picture being pretty clear by week 14 or so but the AFC should go down to the wire. Barring injury the NFC playoffs should be eagles, rams, vikings, packers, saints and falcons. AFC should be NE, pitt, jax, raiders and 2 spots up for grabs
Steelers and pats are the only locks in the afc and we really only care about the 2nd place teams in the other divisions. And every single one of them have their warts and no one would be surprised if any of the Texans,Titans, jags, any of the afc west teams, ravens or bengals missed the playoffs. There’s is a lot of mediocrity and questions surrounding 14 of the afc teams.
IDK i guess we'll see when the season starts but not even counting us i feel like 6 teams could be competing for a wild card in the AFC come week 17
