    Sounds a lot like TGG.com. Taken from today's NYPost.com:

Wow.. Not sure if Serby is moonlighting as a poster here on TGG.com but every single one of his points has been brought up on this board at least twice. Sadly, even the most ardent Serby hater might want to read this article again and wonder if indeed for once, Serby is right.

    Thoughts anyone?

Never read Serby articles, he has the mentality of a typical whiny fan.

What a surprise. Another joke of an article posted by some hack. Tanny doesn't trust Sanchez? Ok sure thing. Tebow is polarizing on the team? What? Why do they get paid to make up lies? I can't believe how bad Jets fans and media hacks are just 2 preseason games in with 3 of 4 top receivers out!!!! It's been annoying in the past, but this year is a whole new level of stupidity.

Maybe I'm just cynical but I thought the article hit every nail on the head....

The real question is when refering to "frozen late game playoff choke" is he talking about Joe Walton or Herm ?

Yeah, Serby does have a negative spin from time to time but he's been pretty balanced in the the Rex era. And I think he hit just about every nail on the head as you said.

The article is harsh, maybe unnecessarily so, but you can't say he's just making up problems/concerns.

how bad is the history when you have to be more informative about what "choke" you are reffering to?

I don't have my head in the sand. The Jets' offense is woeful. And anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.

Honestly, does anyone ever think the team is going to complete a long drive for a touchdown. I never do. They have to catch a million breaks to drive 80 yards.

I think he was referring to Herm against Pittsburgh which was play not to lose but there was also up 10 on the Browns in the Dog Pound in 86 in the same round. It's kind of pathetic that we're sitting here wondering....only the Jets.

I didn't see anything made up, darksider POV absolutely but certainly not anything that was a lie or made up.

That's just it, does anybody see this offense scoring more then 13-17 points a game? That may work against the Bills, Phins, Seahawks and Cardinals but as good as our defense is I don't see them good enough to hold the Pats to under 20 or teams with real offenses under 20. Our defense is going to need to score TD's as is ST which is unfair to those units because you can't expect it all the time.

Honestly - I don't think they can drive 80 yards and score a TD. They simply can't do it. Right now they can't drive 40 yards and score a TD so 80 yards is out of he question. Really - They Can't Do It!

No offense but the article is pretty accurate ,,,right here and now I cannot argue with anything he wrote ,,,the guy has been a jerk in the past but that does not change the fact that what he wrote is " on the money " .

oh come on. Just because you don't like his conclusions is no reason to diss his writing. For example:

It is the men taking on water as they navigate the stormy seas in such a futile way who are viewed from port as an offensive ship of fools, harboring the ominous, ever present threat of a season thrown overboard by a mutiny on the bounty.

Hey, that's pretty good. I think the only posters who can write that well around here are me and maybe a couple others.

First of all I think you misread the article for its take on Tebow. He was saying I am certain that there has been no occasion to see if Tebow is all that polarizing since we have not seen the Jets even try to use him in an option or wildcat play. And I do think the trade for Tebow following the attempts to get Peyton Manning show a lack of trust in Sanchez. I don't trust Sanchez. Why should anyone else?

I think it's pretty stupid to deny that there are huge problems on this offense. You can complain about the criticisms all you want, but there's really no point in getting angry about it. It's bad for your heart.
