does any one really think that Ryan or the Jets care what these guys think? I don't. Ryan will likely laugh this off as he always does. All it takes to make this the next great coaching style is for ryan to win. If he wins, coaches everywhere will be emulating him. If he loses, he will be ridiculed and run off the face of the earth by analysts, even if the jets want him to stick around.
0% chance of that happening. Grown men are not going to change their personalities. Do you really think guys like Mike Singletary, Jeff Fisher, Mike McCarthy, Lovie Smith, and Pete Carroll are suddenly going to become braggadocios if Ryan and the Jets win the Super Bowl? Is Fisher going to get into trash talk battles with players from opposing teams? If Carroll goes 6-10 this year but he sees Ryan win a Super Bowl, will Carroll decide that he needs to flip 49ers fans the bird at UFC events?
i don't mean in the NFL, i mean with the new wave of coaches coming in to the world, from high school to college and eventually we will see more guys like Ryan break into coaching in the NFL. Obviously guys entrenched in their styles aren't going to change, but the new guys could certainly try it out.
And yet, when we do start winning, you're going to pull a bitch move and start praising him on how good of coach he is. :steelers:
still, no Grown men are not going to change in the way that you are suggesting. Now, if you are saying some 12-year old in Ohio is going to be swayed by Ryan and decide that being a braggart will work, then maybe you have something there. If the 12-year old does not come from a good family and has bad teachers and little to no positive role models, then maybe he could be molded by a head coach he never met.
How many bellicheck wanna be's have there since the patriots started winning? It may not be people changing, but owners will opt to hire the Rex Ryan type if he is very successful
Amen brother. I'm probably not going to be popular for saying this but I do get a little tired of Rex's act at times, also. I love the fact that he believes in the team and all but I really do think he puts too big a target on our backs with his mouth. I wouldn't want him to change who he is or anything but sometimes I just wish he would just tone the "Superbowl" talk a bit.
I have to laugh at Bradshaw, he has one of the biggest mouths on NFL related programs. He is an obnoxious fool. Maybe she is suffering with another bout of manic depression. Or he is just a tool. Likely the later.
Bradshaw was a hell of a player, who cares what he says though. I still think he's pretty entertaining on Fox NFL. He's a goofball. I'll cut him some slack.
When did Belichick ever run around a field after a win and make fist pumps and what not? Does McDaniels emulate Belichick in certain ways? Yeah. Does he believe in some of the same coaching principles? Sure. That doesn't make him a Belichick wannabe, though. I don't think McDaniels is that much of a moron. Mangini is the one who comes across as a zombie with no original ideas. "I'll coach a 3-4 defense even without proper 3-4 personnel just because Belichick prefers the 3-4. Also, I'll publically show absolutely zero personality because that is how Belichick does it."
if he didn't shut up last year during two 3 game losing streaks why would he shut up now? bradshaw should just go back to showing people how to fail at marriage and life.
Frankly, I'm surprised Howie Long hasn't knocked him into next week on several occassions. Tremendous self control.
