The AFC East went 1-15 in the Preseason

    The Patriots had the only win for the division in a 7-6 barnburner against New Orleans. It probably doesn't mean anything, just kind of a funny stat.

    After reviewing the results of the preseason, the NFL has announced that the division has been cancelled and an additional WC spot has been made available. No AFC East team is eligible for postseason play.

    As I've written before, last year's only 0-4 preseason team (ATL) made the playoffs. Nothing to read into here.

    Out of all, rather dismal preseason results, only Jets result count. Jets are doomed. Others, not quite. That's how it is.

    difference is Miami hasn't been competitive but once in the last 10 years.

    Pre-season is so vanilla and means nothing towards the regular season. This record is useless.
