    My prediction:

The Jets will draft football players...

In all seriousness...the Jets should turn their attention to the offense in this draft. We have made a ton of mid-level acquisitions toward the defense already...lets inject the Offense with youth...

    4- Brick
    29- Joseph Addai
    35- Brodie Croyle

This would put some much needed youth in major positions...

I would be very upset if our first three went this way. I dont want us spending the picks all three on O or D. We need to balance it out as much as we can. I have no problem with Brick, I would prefer another player bu he may what we are looking for. Croyle I think would be way to high at this spot.

At 29, if Mangold is there I think we have nto take him, regardless of what we do with our 4, his value is too high to let go at 29. Otherwise I would not be opposed to Addai at 29. One guy that I am very interested in who has been getting little or no press is Gabe Watson, he should be around at the 29 and at the 35 and he is a big body who had a solid career at Michigan.

I would be shocked if we stayed put at #4, #29, #35. I expect us to move up or down in the draft with the extra 3rd and 4th we have. On draft day I think Tanny will do something brilliant they we never saw coming.

Why would you be shocked if we stayed? What has there been that has led you to beleive that we are so intent on moving around. I feel we are in prime position with three of the first 35.

I'll go with Mario and Maroney in the 1st, address the O-line in the 2nd and if we go qb in the 3rd I would take Clemens over Croyle. We have a fragile qb on the team already. If a trade does go down and we slide a bit then I see us taken Davis. Schott is the OC now and he wants something close to gates in his Offense, so that pick wouldn't surprise me. At the end of the day on sat. I just want to see a piece of the big picture the wonder twins are constructing.

If we go QB later on then I would not mind Charlie WHitehurst in the slightest

I wasn't necessarily saying this is the way I would handle the draft...I was just saying that if the Jets decide to really address the O early this would be a decent way to do it.

The more i think about it i think the Jets are gonna pull a shocker on us all. I want Vince Young or Matt Leinart. But i wouldnt be pissed if they got Mario Williams.A.J Hawk or D-Brickashaw Ferguson. Any of these picks would be an upgrade.

1a) Mario Williams(if hes gone then Vince Young)
1b) Manny Lawson(If gone then Eric Winston)
    2) Marcus McNeil
3a) Maurice Stovall(if still available, if not then Devin Aromashodu)
3b) Omar Jacobs(unless Qb has already been adressed then Victor Adeyanju)
    4) JERIOUS NORWOOD (we must get this guy even if it means using a 3rd rounder)

Vernon Davis will be our pick at #4. He is the best offensive weapon after Bush and look who our OC is. Shottenheimer knows the value of a great all world TE. A great pass catching TE who can also block and can run like the wind. We will run a 2TE formation with Davis in the role that Gates has with SD. Last year I had the right pick with Nugent. I can't wait to see Davis in Jet green and white.

I believe the Saints are trying to make us think they want Mario, but they don't. I think they want Ferguson because htye know tey NEED Ferguson. I think they want us to trade up to get him and we don't. I think we take Mario at #4, Mangold at #29 becaus we know teague is not the answer and then come back and take Whitworth at #35 because we know Card/niner boy is not the answer. I think we answer every question on the team EXCEPT quarterback and we assume that one of our two one-year-auditions pans out. And if it doesn't, we do everything we can NEXT YEAR to find out QB of the future.

Heres what I think if we stay where were at.
    4. Matt Leinart if hes there
    29. Joseph Addai, Lawrence Maroney, Deangelo Williams, Lendale White or any of the best RB availabe.
    35. Kammerion Wimbley. This guys a good player who can play either rush DE or 3-4 OLB and would be good for our 3-4 defense
    71. Jonathan Scott will battle with Anthony Clement for the RT spot
    97. Greg Eslinger will be a great Center but will sit for a year or 2 then start

My brother predicted the Mike Nugent pick as well...

I wouldn't be suprised to see V. Davis a Jet...I would just be a little skeptical

Not bad at all, although I would go either Mario/RB(Williams if there or Maroney) with 1a and 1b and if Williams is gone I'd go Davis/Lawson(Carpenter if gone)
