All those players have to be over $60 milllion a year in cap space, and that leaves no room for the Pats to sign their draft class. I want to see the numbers on this and how they did it. I think the bastards are cheating again somehow.

An interesting stat is that they are the sixth team to spend $100 million in guaranteed free agent money in one year. Playoff wins for the previous five? Zero. Even scarier: two of those teams were the 2018 and 2019 Jets.

Players taking paycuts to play for Bellichick for a chance to win a Super Bowl is nothing new.

They paid Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry like top 3 TEs, Smith has never ranked higher than 19th in yards and Henry, 9th in yards was his best year. Haven't looked at the other contracts yet but if they keep overpaying I am ok with that.

Henry is good but not top 3 pay good, he also has significant injury history. Smith many were expecting to get a contract in the $8M range, not $12.5M. I think they way overpaid, better them than the Jets.
