    we trade down to detroit for their 9th and 40th

    take v. davis at 9

    29th pick mangold

    35th lawson

    40th howard

    3a whitmore (ol)

    3b o'callahan

    now to make things interesting we can trade d-rob and a 4th and 5th to detroit for charles rodgers.

    why detroit accept because they are in dire need of help in their defense and with Shaun "Big Baby" Rodgers and D-Rob tthat defense will vastly improve.
    Also Charles Rodgers been giving them problems last year.

    basically, we'd have NO nose tackle and regular DT to play on our dline then...that creates a bigger hole than any other we have right now, as there's no interior linemen who can start.

    Ther's no way we would make that trade. I would not even trade just d'brick for him and neway we need all the picks we can get for the empty holes

    Who the hell would want Charles Rogers? He has had
    season ending injuries 2 of the past 3 years. Why don't we just clone Chad Pennington.

    I have to assume that the people that want to draft vernon Davis are not very football knowledgeable, or at least do not understand the severity of needs we have....come on people, get real......who gives a shit who the TE is if our O-line looks like it did last season.....
