This team truly sucks and is not a few pieces away from competing, 1st order of business trade Breece Hall away something which Moogey should of done in the offseason, Trade Quinnen if you can get atleast a 1st for him, trade whoever else you can if the draft capital is high enough. Fields is not the answer either we will be drafting a Qb this offseason for the new regime.
Well, they are working with leftovers from unsuccessful regimes so, I would think there's no untouchables on the roster. Sauce's contract makes him pretty much untouchable as nobody wants to pay premium prices for a soft tackling CB.
That’s what we’re doing chief. Rebuilding teams stink. We stink. We’re going to have a lot more of these games than we will games like last week. We have a bad bridge QB and a bargain bin crop of players around him for the most part.
I'm not worried about Sauce. I'm not worried about Wilson either. There are maybe 8 guys that I'm not worried about. That leaves 14 starters that are fully expendable. Fields would basically have to put up an MVP season for him to be worthy of coming back next year. We all know that isn't happening. Was it me or did he already look gassed on that one run, just before the end of the half? He should have been heading to the end zone but it's like he "gave up." to be quite honest, the only positive, so far this season, is Arch Manning showing everyone he's NOT a top 5 QB pick. Season's early but that's my early opinion.
Glenn better give us a reason as to why we should allow him to draft the next QB before now and the end of the year. If he doesn't then why risk repeating the same mistakes of the past 15 years? Especially when you have someone more stable like Mccarthy out there. This team needs stability, not another roll of the dice in the hopes it finally works.
Reminder that the first year the Lions were rebuilding they lost something like their first 11 games. Like I said rebuilding team’s stink. That’s why it’s called rebuilding. You’re starting from scratch. That’s exactly what we did.
Yeah, but they played well in all those games and didn't make big mistakes. They were just too weak in talent and so they couldn't finish games. The Jets have a lot of talent but they can't seem to use it properly and they haven't fixed the backbreaking mistakes they kept making last year. Aaron Glenn is not the guy. I thought things were getting better last week, but no, I think things are worse than ever before. He may be the disciplinarian the Jets were looking for, but whatever he's doing is not working. I know it's only week 2, but things need to be nearly fixed by now. They need to look like they're a season away from being a contender. I've seen this before; they're going nowhere. I'm seeing 0 to 3 wins this year. They need to fire the coaching staff by the end of the season, trade away both Williams brothers, Sauce, Stephens, and Fields, even Wilson if we get a good deal for him. Start from scratch; our core players have proven that they aren't worth building around. This is all I need to see; they're done. Start with a completely new team and a new coach. Make a new rule: Coaches only get ONE YEAR to show they are making progress, and if they don't, they're gone and the team starts from scratch again. By making progress, I don't mean winning the Super Bowl, I mean showing less mistakes, crisper play, and clear signs that they're getting better. That's not happening here, and it's not going to happen.
It just started. Just because all the other ones have flapped doesn’t mean we accrue time. That’s the problem with being a historically inept franchise. Your leads of believe that every single time it’s going to fail. It definitely could, but to do this right now is really fucking stupid. This dude is hands-down one of the worst additions to this website this season. I’m still not convinced he’s actually a Jets fan. He says shit that screams “patriots fan here to troll“.
Yeah anyone who doesn't agree with your viewpoint and is sick of this shit, is a troll obviously. Let me know when the Jets give me something optimistic to talk about.
No, people who say unbelievably stupid shit with zero logic or thought behind it is either stupid or a troll. I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt and calling you a troll.
Wasn’t that supposed to be the plan all along? The Jets were not expected to be very competitive this year … There’s nothing like reading this message board after a loss lol….
If the Jet's didn't want to be competitive this year, they should of traded away Breece and atleast Sauce and gone into rebuild mode, not sign Fields and give out massive contracts so fans could fill the seats.
If i'm a troll your Woody's Jock strap holder because nothing the Jets do including hiring a rookie coach for the 5th straight time seems wrong to you and anyone calling them out on it is a "troll". How does it feel to be 1 of the only 2 people in Woody's fan club?
The two huge contracts we handed out were extensions and they don’t kick in for another two years. This is what I mean when I say trolls say shit that are stupid with zero thought and logic behind it. Why would you trade away two guys basically planning out their rookie contracts who happened to be among the best players at their position if you are starting a rebuild?
I mean this is just really stupid. I can’t stand Justin Fields and hated the signing. So far in this thread alone you are three for three on saying stupid shit with no thought or logic behind it.
How much Value could of we gotten for Sauce if we didn't sign him and traded him for picks down the line? Do you honestly think with this new regime we will be competitive in the next 3 years? Even if we somehow hit on a qb which 99.5% chance we won't it will take atleast 3 years for him to develop and get the right weapons for him. That's my logic.
