Morning, my Brothers. And Kelly. This is something I read. Where, I don't remember. It was Fri. at some point. If someone else saw it please let me know so I can check it out again. Anyway, it was a poll about what the fans of each team WANTED their team to do come draft day. This was a nation wide poll(I think) and fans of each team voted for who they wanted. Jet fans voted for Young @ 30 % (Nationwide). Second choice was Matt(I think) if not him than Jay. There was also a percentage listed of NY/NJ fans and what they wanted and that was @ 43 % for Vince. WTF? 40 + % of NY fans want the guy and you wouldn't know that by reading this site. Why the discrepancy? All the polls we do on this site and I've seen nothing about anyone, recently, about people here(myself excluded) who still want the guy. Does anyone know of the poll I am refering to? If so, where did I see it? I believe I tried to vote on it but was unable. I would love to see the same kind of poll here: ALL TGG FANS- Who do we pick at 4 if we stay?
Yeah, ESPN ran a similar poll recently, but Leinart wasn't in it. Still, Young came out as the favorite. Although that would be a bit more understandable.
It may have been SNY.TV. That Directv NY METS/JETS channel also has a site that is NY teams(JETS, METS, Rangers). They also have a show called JETS Nation(625 on my system) which airs every Sat. at 11:00 AM. Anyway, 43 %? I know we needs oodles of help at 90 % of the teams position but I HONESTLY don't see why more people don't want the guy. There was a time not too long ago when some teams didn't want Sapp or Moss(diff. reasons, I know) but still teams passed and, I bet, A LOT of teams wish they had the pick back. Hate to have that happen to us. Again. Ed Reed, anyone?

you see.... we're the smart fans.... other people just look at last season and put most of the blame on our QB, or lack thereof. We board people realize that you can have Marino in his prime at QB and if he was behind the O-Line we had last year, he would have been on the floor more than Brooksie.
Yup, that's it. OK, so it's 40 %, but still. The poll has 40 % of NY/NJ fans thinking we should pick the guy but I don't think that, if you read the posts going now, more than a dozen members are saying they want the guy. Don't get it. Don't care. He would be my choice and of all the big 6-7 names being tossed around, Brick would be my last. Thanks for finding the site, BTW.
