I know a lot of fans are more concerned about the draft pick and getting Bowles fired at this point, but the home Pats game is the one I can never root against us in even during lost seasons. Really feels like we have a chance to step on the throat of the Pats dynasty here. If we knock them off, it’ll almost ensure that they play during Wild Card Weekend and have to play 2 road games if they want to win the AFC. Not sure they can handle that anymore, and the first round bye would be huge for Brady to recover at age 41. Plus, teams around the league are starting to play the Pats with more confidence. If they lose to a hapless Jets team, it’ll really knock them down another peg and maybe put a dent into their own confidence. Hopefully Darnold starts. Go Jets. Let’s end this shit.

@Big Cat I wish I shared your enthusiasm on this one. I hope you're right, though. It would be great if the Jets could spoil the party. Beating the Cheats twice would make my year and almost make this crapfest of a season palatable. P.S.: Jamal Adams' stalker still has not been arrested per police sources.

Oh, you know they're out there. GO JETS!!! I probably won't make it past the 3rd Q if it turns into a massacre. However, if we pull this one out (sigh), that would be delightful. Royal Tee will sit there like an idiot in subzero temperatures until the clock is 00:00 even if it's 80-3 in the 4th Q. I don't know how he does it.
Come on, when’s the last time the Pats blew us out at home? Pretty sure it was the buttfumble 6 years ago. The Jets always play the home game close even when the team is falling apart. Pretty sure it’s because they treat it like their Super Bowl.

I’m expecting the usual Pats performance - matching them effort and possession-wise for most of the first three quarters but always slightly behind the score. I think this game will be the worst of all outcomes - a consolation loss - where Bowles comes out of it with some credit. Pats 27 Jets 17
