Giants at Vikings

If Derrick Ward gains 52 yards rushing, the Giants will become the 5th team in NFL history with two 1000 yard rushers.

    The others:
1972 Dolphins- Larry Csonka 1117, Mercury Morris 1000
1976 Steelers- Franco Harris 1128, Rocky Bleier 1036
1985 Browns- Kevin Mack 1104, Earnest Byner 1002
2006 Falcons- Warrick Dunn 1140, Michael Vick 1039

    Titans at Colts

If the Colts win they will become the first team in history with six consecutive 12-win seasons.

    Rams at Falcons

Michael Turner has rushed for 1491 yards. Roddy White has 1334 yards receiving. If they both eclipse the 1500 yard mark, this will be the 5th time teammates have accomplished the feat.

    The others:
1991 Cowboys- Emmitt Smith 1563, Michael Irvin 1523
1995 Cowboys- Emmitt Smith 1773, Michael Irvin 1603
1995 Lions- Barry Sanders 1500, Herman Moore 1686
1999 Colts- Edgerrin James 1553, Marvin Harrison 1663

    Panthers at Saints

Drew Brees need to pass for 402 yards to break Dan Marino's single season passing mark of 5084 yards.

    Browns at Steelers

Bruce Gradkowski is slated to start at quarterback for the Browns. As if you needed another reason to not watch this game.

consecutive quarters in which the Browns have failed to score an offensive touchdown: 20 and counting

    Raiders at Buccaneers

This is the 8th meeting of this series (7th in regular season). It is only the second time the Buccaneers will host the Raiders. The Buccaneers defeated the Raiders in Tampa in 1996. The Raiders are 1-1 all-time in Tampa (they won a Super Bowl there).

Ronald Curry leads Oakland wide receivers with 19 receptions.

    Bears at Texans

This will be the second game of this series. The Texans won the first meeting in Chicago in 2004 by a score of 24-5.

    Lions at Packers

The Lions have dropped their last 17 games in Wisconsin (14 in Green Bay, 3 in Milwaukee). That includes a 1994 playoff game in which Barry Sanders ran for minus-1 yard on 13 carries.

The Lions have not defeated the Packers on the road since 1991.

    Chiefs at Bengals

The Chiefs have not won in Cincinnati since 1984.

    Patriots at Bills

The Patriots have won 7 of their last 8 games in Buffalo.

    Jaguars at Ravens

Matt Stover has converted 386 consecutive extra points. This is a league record. Jason Elam and Jeff Wilkins are tied for second with 371 straight (the Elam streak is not current; it was from 1993-2002).

    Cowboys at Eagles

similar seasons from a statistical standpoint from the teams' RBs-
    rushing
    Barber- 235 att., 872 yards, 7 TDs
    Westbrook- 220 att., 886 yards, 9 TDs

    receiving
    Barber- 50 rec., 397 yards, 2 TDs
    Westbrook- 52 rec., 390 yards, 5 TDs

    Seahawks at Cardinals

Steve Breaston has 915 yards receiving. Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin are both over 1000. If Breaston gains at least 85 yards on receptions, the Cardinals will become the 5th team to have three 1000 yard receivers.

    The others:
1980 Chargers- John Jefferson 1340, Kellen Winslow 1290, Charlie Joiner 1132
1989 Redskins- Gary Clark 1229, Art Monk 1186, Ricky Sanders 1138
1995 Falcons- Eric Metcalf 1189, Bert Emanuel 1039, Terance Mathis 1039
2004 Colts- Reggie Wayne 1210, Marvin Harrison 1113, Brandon Stokley 1077

    Redskins at 49ers

Frank Gore needs 22 yards rushing to become the first 49er with three consecutive 1000 yard rushing seasons.

    Broncos at Chargers

The Chargers have won 13 consecutive games played in December.

Peyton Manning was 7 of 7 for 95 yards and then got the rest of the game off.

Buffalo screws things up royally at the end of the half and blows any chance at tying the game.

Is it just me or did the Patriots premeditate that fight to confuse everyone further?
