I don't have much of anything by way of previews except to note that there is no Sunday night game this week. I like how the World Series gives us a break with the football. Fans need byes too, sometimes. I'm going to watch the Hawks-Lakers game on Sunday night.

    Sunday, Nov 1
    Denver vs Baltimore
    Houston vs Buffalo
    Cleveland vs Chicago
    Seattle vs Dallas
    St. Louis vs Detroit
    San Francisco vs Indianapolis
    Giants vs Philadelphia
    Oakland vs San Diego
    Jacksonville vs Tennessee
    Minnesota vs Green Bay
    Carolina vs Arizona

    Monday, Nov 2
    Atlanta vs New Orleans

    Some Week 8 Thoughts:
-Favre at Packers will be intense. I hope the Jets game gets done on time so I can watch all the stuff in Green Bay. Go Packers!

-Broncos-Ravens is a great match up. I can't see the Ravens losing 4 straight though.

-Giants-Eagles sandwiched in between two Yankees-Phillies games, thats great. Same thing with Baltimore, I can't see the Giants losing 3 straight.

-The Titans get their first win of the season I bet.

-Lions are way better than the Rams. People thinking the Rams get their first win are wrong.

How can Favre tell everyone in a straight face that he is not our for revenge?

I agree about the Lions, if Calvin Johnson and Stafford are back.

Because at 40 years old he is just grateful that his body is still working, and that he is collecting a huge paycheck.

It would be different if he was 30 years old, he might be loaded with revenge.

Except for Stephen Jackson, the Rams are cooked for the season. Too bad, Spags has worked his heart out for that team.

    Maybe next year....

    Giants/Eagles

Brian Westbrook out with a concussion.

    Manningham is scratched.

Also, this is now the second time this season the Giants and Jets have gone head to head, after it hadn't happened since the '80s.

McNabb hit a wide open DeSean Jackson for like 59 yards.

    Eagles rolling over the Giants.

    23-7

Giants finally scored, but the Eagles answered within 20 seconds.

FOX is having severe technical difficulties, but this game is over anyway.

Eagles up 30-7 at the half.

    Eagles now up four scores

Hixon fumbled the opening kickoff of the second half, Eagles recover, then get a field goal

Peyton Manning fantasy owners are really annoyed now, as Indy runs the RB option and Addai throws a TD pass for Indy's lone TD.

18-14, after the failed conversion attempt.

    Favre booed Unmercifully

The Green Bay fans serenaded his traitor ass with boos before the game and when he just came in the game.

As predicted before the season the fans would be all over him in this game and rightfully so.
