http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/jets/post/_/id/14518/hunter-personal-reasons-misses-practice Knowing the Jets, this means nothing, but thinking wishfully, this is the beginning on an ass canning.
Hunter just needs more time to prove himself. Let him take whatever time he needs to recuperate so that he can come back to full strength.
Given that the practice was open to fans and how poorly WFH has played in preseason games, it wouldn't surprise me if the Jets wanted to prevent fans from ripping on him and asked him to skip it.
I don't know, he's a pro. I couldn't see the Jets or any team telling a guy to skip practice because his feelings might get hurt.
That's right, he can go to Tibet on a soul-searching trek and not come back until 2017. After his contact has already expired.
I think Hunter needs to learn a new position to help the team. I'm thinking Left End. Of the bench that is.
Bingo!!! Listen, we have no backup plan. Hunter is going to start so its best to keep the guys spirits up and not let frustrated Jet fans boo the crap out of him at practice.
That was my take on this sudden absence as well. EZPass knows what the entire JetNation thinks of him and to pretend that it has no effect is nonsense. He might be masquerading as a competent RT but the reality is, he's human and by now, what's left of his ego is hanging by the thinnest of threads. Without a viable replacement, they're gonna have to coddle Hunter until one is found. Hence the excused absence for "personal reasons".
