I ain't admitting anything. I think it's a joke that Cotchery passed him on the list,, probably just to get JMAC going. Cotchery is by far the most overrated player on this site.

While I do not disagree with your Crotch analysis he is now the starter which means JMac at best is a backup or on the way to to the waiver wire. Unless JMaC boosts his game 1,000% or more he will be just a after thought in NYJ history

Not for Swami69, the all-knowing and omnipotent one. We pale in comparison to his overwhelming wisdom and guidance. To speak otherwise is blasphemy (aka: misinformation).

Who cares, champ? He's not going to be on the 2010 roster, anyway.

If he keeps dropping fade patterns for sure TD's like he did against TB, he will be.

Well as others have mentioned, hindsight is 20/20, but I was one who was all for this trade when it happened. He has definitely disappointed, except for a few flashes here and there....

First of all, those who were supportive of McCareins cannot be called 'naysayers'. That's the opposite of what they are.

Secondly, nobody could deny that he has been disappointing, but this was at least partly due to injuries last season. And just because he isn't Jerry Rice doesn't make him worthless.

I would say it's about 50/50 whether he bounces back and becomes a contributor for the Jets or simply slides into obscurity. I'm obviously hoping for the former, but some people actually seem to hope that he fails.

Facts are facts & just like JV I was saying since last season even began that JMaC was valueless using the term just another typical non quality player that the NYJs have had for years & years & years. To bad if you were not smart enough to see what I saw many moons ago.

yeah, it was kinda of a cream puff pass, with a weird arc, but he did get his hands on it. I think Cothery can play. We'll see

I liked what McCareins brought to the team in 2004, he showed heart, desire and a bit of ability, but he was rank rotten in 2005 and showed none of the above. Accordingly I have soured on him and am not concerned about his slide into obscurity. He had the potential to make something of his career here and didn't. Tough.

Sheesh- These are human Beings... We're not always right or wrong about them But, I was on the Jmac bandwagon and I'm not jumping off after an preseason depth chart comes out....

Only an Irrational NFL Virgin would go all irrational after preseason moves....

The guy DID have good games in Tenn...

Hey I bashed Herm and Bradway as much as anyone when they were here.. But, this deal is way down on their long list of mistakes and isn't worth calling anyone out on.

Cause the skids are being greased for either his outright release or trade if someone wants him. As Crotch has shown so little no difference then JMaC that makes them more/less even as players then if you have any common sense & managerial experience U would have seen that without having to post what U posted

I think you need to rephrase the title of your thread. The McCareins naysayers were right.
