I agree. But it doesnt seem to effect his numbers. 24-22 (most of it coming in the AFC South) is pretty respectable. And that was his first 3 years in the league. You figure he is only going to get better. But Del Rio fell in love with Garrard and Leftwich got pushed aside. I think if he was better at the things you mentioned he would be very good. But with a poor release and no mobility he is still pretty solid. And its not like he is an old man. I believe he is in his late 20's. He's a guy who if he performs well could be here long term. I would it least give him a chance to compete with Clemens, and Ratliff, and or a QB they draft.
If forced to chose purely on stats, I guess A is kinda obvious. But as that briths PM said "lies, damn lies, and statistics," and secondly none of those excite me too much. Whoever we get, we have to hope he can do better than that.
I know who it is, I posted earlier who it was. That still doesn't answer the question. If somebody wants to ask those questions then why do they refer to him as Player A and not as Anderson?
i agree 100 percent, i think hes worth a look..he work hard to get himself back, hes been a good role player this year, and When called upon hes looked better than Rothlisberger
excellent point. the jets, on offense, are one or two key skill positions away from being dominant. our receivers do not have playmaking ability. cotchery and coles showed flashes at times but were inconsistent. how about we hire a damn receivers coach. there were too many drops last season. inexcusable at the professional level.
I'm holding out hope that we still have a shot at getting this guy on next year's team: 535 356 66.5 4155 7.8 28 82 15 95.7
