Some say we should draft a RB like DMC if it comes our way. Some say LW is better than TJ. I personally like TJ, and with this line I feel he's gonna tear it up in '08. What's your opinion?

Nothing wrong with Thomas Jones. He should be aight with the line we have now., But having Mcfadden come of the bench would be wicked too...Overall we sjould draft Gholston though

I've just got a weird hunch the Jets are completely in love with someone that will be a huge suprise at 6-- like Gholston and McFadden are both available and we draft a QB or something and everybody's going "what?...." like the bozos in the crowd in 2000 when Abraham was picked.

both. todays NFL has 2 starting RB'S. we really need a WR. thats what we should be obsessing over, not RB. come on, we've got a good tandem. lets just keep what we have, and draft GHOLSTON, and lock up a big wide out in the 2nd round!

They spent too much on TJ to go and get another high priced back right now.

Thomas Jones easily. Now he has an offensive line too. 10+ TD's for TJ this year.

We are solid at that position..we have a lot of great options in this draft now that we have plug some MAJOR holes.

He's proven? He's had one solid year, and that was with the Bears. Even with 1000 yards last year, He didn't meet what the Jets wanted him to.

TJ should have a great year, but if we do draft McFadden then I would slowly phase him in over the course of the year (he has to learn and there is technique issues that should be addressed by the coaches). TJ should still carry the load and Leon should still have quite a few plays called just for him.

TJ can get it done. If Ray Rice is available in the later rounds, that would be a nice pick.

Thomas Jones. People will be amazed how he looks with a real line in front of him.

Yeah, because having to run through the wall of cement that was our line last year had nothing to do with that.

Do you blame Jones for that? I mean seriously. Some of his 3 yard runs were the most impressive runs I have ever seen. Breaking multiple tackles in the backfield, etc. He did great last year with the horrible line.

Jones definitely. Give him a year with a good O line and see what he does.

We need a big fast WR early in this draft. Not a late round gamble from a small school. Or I'll settle for Javon Walker if he's healthy.

thomas jones hands down. with an improved line he can be great. in chicago he was fantastic despite opposing teams knowing he was the first option without any semblance of a passing game.

I'm incredibly glad to see that the majority of us approve of Jones and just don't open our mouths about it. Normally all you see is LW fans and DMC fans on this board anymore, when TJ is a legitimate threat. Go back and rewatch Superbowl XXXIX, and just watch him churn out yards - he was the sole offensive highlight of the Bears offense.

The man can run. Lets give him a few yards with a reasonable line to get some momentum now and see what he can really do.

Thomas Jones. The man is a powerful inside runner. He is starting to get older, so I say we trade down and draft Mendenhall to be waiting in the wings. DMC is neither my nor Eric Mangini's type of player...

Jones was over a K last year with no line...he should be fine this year.

We damn well better be able to run the ball effectively; I don’t see anyone on the roster that can pass it effectively.
