I'd sacrifice three goats to the football Gods...although Tom Brady might be pissed.

I remember Keller blowing a game or two on when they were on the line in strikingly retarded fashion.

Keller's production has been consistently underwhelming.

^Which 2 games did Keller blow?

Greene or Keller? They are the LEAST likely to be traded right now. Like I said, the offense is the issue, not D. We trade Greene or Keller, we have to bring in somebody else at the respective positions that has to learn our offense with little time remaining before the season starts. Keller was Sanchez #1 target in back to back years. We aren't ditching him because he's not a great blocker. He's a solid receiver, he just has trouble when passes are thrown behind him Trading Greene would destroy our running game. If we trade Slauson our depth on the line goes to hell again, I'd rather not. I think LJF might be right that any trade will consist of mostly draft picks.

Guys that are off limits to trade (IMO):

Revis, Cromartie, Landry, Harris, Wilk, Ellis, Coples, Maybin, Mangold, Sanchez, Greene, Keller, Holmes, Slauson, Ferguson, Mcknight.

A trade needs to happen. Hopefully we can get great value from a team that's deep at the Tackle position. I'd be open to trading just about any player or pick so long as the return value is equal/maximized.

It's good to see and after watching the Sparano and Rex PC yesterday it was clear to me their heads were out of the sand on Hunter.

With that said, I don't think we need to acquire and pay a hefty fee for a premier RT. I think if we can acquire a serviceable player to hold us over for this year that would do just fine and the team can address a long term solution in the offeason. And not a guy who we THINK can be serviceable but a guy who has proven to be serviceable.

I'm glad to hear and see that the Jets are looking to upgrade bc they have a track record for not admitting when they are wrong under this regime.

Since other teams know our backs are against the wall it will probably take a mid round pick with a possible other pick later in the draft.

    Ravens game 2010

Killed a drive by running out of bounds on 4th down before he got the first, no one was around him.

    From ESPN play-by-play:

Jets lost 10-9 and they had a chance to drive to FG range.

There was another game, which I can't remember the specifics of, but he dropped a critical pass or fumbled or did something completely unforced.

Same here. I'd hold on to Revis, Mangold, Coples (just incase) and Sanchez (because who else do we have?) but any other player or pick can go as long as we're getting the equivalent player in a RT.

Exactly who are we going to be able to trade for ? How many good Tackles are actually gonna be traded ? Don't really see it.

so trade our only viable option at WR for a RT...basically, fill a hole and deepen another one...??

BTW, nobody will take on Holmes contract.

Just wait until the first or second cut down day and you'll be able to pick up a capable vet. I'd rather have an aging, scrappy vet anyway as they will have less of a learning curve and be motivated. It will get the Jets through the season until they can actually draft someone. Baltimore built almost their whole line that way. No need to make any trades, but if you do I wouldn't sacrifice anyone on offense because its weak enough already.

if im trading someone from our secondary, I'm trading Cromartie for Cherlius and Burleson and slotting Kyle Wilson into the #2 role. It makes sense cap wise and personell wise.

Titus Young is overtaking Burleson and Burleson can play the slot and outside.

Kill 2 birds with one stone and free up space to re-up Revis.

Yeah let's just take away mark's favorite target in exchange for a move that should have been made in the offseason, that should be a big confidence booster for him.

Cro is untradable this year because of the cap hit.
