Cutler will have better stats. Orton will likely win about as many games despite the fact that the Bears have more talent than the Broncos. Cutler is poison. Sweet poison but poison none the less. Every time I see him he reminds me more and more of Jeff George: a supremely talented retard who has no feeling at all for how people around him are assessing him. They're both a big step up from Ryan Leaf but have (had) similar issues in the clubhouse. QB is a leadership position AND the guy who throws the ball. If you don't have the first it really does not matter how well you do the second.
Yeah, it's all the receivers fault. He has a pro bowl TE, Devin hester, and a pro bowl potential RB in Forte. He has about the same talent to get the ball to as Sanchez, and i can tell you right now, Sanchez is a QB and Cutler is a slinger who's gonna get burned as often as he is succesful. Also, if Cutler wasn't such a silly "bunt" he could still be throwing to Marshall, Royal, and Sheffler.
Cutler will probably put up better numbers, but Orton will probably have more wins, if you go by history.
Is Devin Hester a good receiver? lol I'm sure it takes some getting used to throwing to shitty wrs after you got used to marshall and royal and stokley as for comparing sanchez and cutler after sanchez 1 game, just stop where you are

Cutler isn't going to have stinker games like week 1 regularly. He's a great QB, everybody knows that. Orton has looked serviceable so far (good for my FF team since McNabb is hurt) but Cutler will have the better season.

I can't even imagine how good the Broncos would look if Cutler was still there with the defense playing as well as they are
I have to say, Orton has done a hell of a job transitioning from a marginally talent poor decision maker to a damned functional game manager over the last couple of seasons. Cutler's still got a whole lot more tools in his box, but could stand to mature the way Orton has.
As an aside, Denver really needs to go back to wearing orange jerseys primarily. How a franchise can get such a distinctive fan identity like Orange Crush, and then kick it to the background for boring old navy blue, I'll never understand.

Kudos to Kyle Orton and Josh McDaniels. That system is really interesting and has a new wrinkle added called the Wild Horses. As Moreno gets more comfortable in the NFL, look out for quite possibly the best RB in the NFL outside of Adrian Peterson. Yes, I rank him that highly. Jay Cutler is playing some great football right now as well. I expect that to continue this week with a victory over the ATL Falcons.
