because it's an opportunity to continue throwing, he'll have guys he can throw to i assume that's the reason either that or because he hasn't played in 2 years
he's gonna put a note on Clemens locker saying "this is MY team and they won't find your body if you take it away from me". hmy:
5/30 is the start of a "voluntary" passing camp for the QBs. Most of the WRs, TEs and RBs usually join as well.... ----edit---- One other thought, the Jets should get an additional OTA this year due to the new staff, but I haven't seen that scheduled yet...
You new to this whole interenet thing, use quotes and never forget Google is your friend  . Just busting you. I believe nfl.com had the minicamp schedule and I think Cannizaro or one of the beat reporters mentioned the passing camp. I'll tell you what, let me do the search for you.... Okay here it is. http://www.nj.com/jets/ledger/index.ssf?/base/sports-0/1146478882217380.xml&coll=1 The official page usually puts up a schedule as well, but they seem to be behind this year. Enjoy...

FranDog commented on Monday that Chad was even at Hofstra on the 1st day of the draft at 6:30am working out. Chad is letting Mangini and Tannebaum that the 2007 NYJ QB is already in house. Chad will be at Minicamp / Rookie Camp and doing whatever he has to do to show Mangini that the right guy to lead this team is already on the team. Say whatever you want about Chad and his occassonal duck arm, but he sure as hell acts as a leader. Which is the real reason why the Offense has a bounce in it's step when he is in there. He commands respect and his players play for him. If we had five players with that personality and mentailty and respect of the rest of the team on both sides of the ball we would be a perennial playoff team. Chad's great quote at the end of last year when asked about if he would play in 2007...."Whoever the coaches bring in to be my competition better bring a lunch box becuase it is gonna be a hell of a battle".....seems to be accurate. He will not make this easy for the coaches. Just as Chad was at Hofstra on the Saturday of the
I think whoever jumps the gun and says Ramsey is going to be the starter is sorely mistaken....at the end of the day, its fairly obvious who is a better QB of the two, and thats Chad...the main thing is however how his shoulder will react to a hit by a 300 lb lineman, but when all is said and done, i have no doubt that chad will be on the field come opening day in Tennessee, its taking the hit that worries me Again, we have seen chad battle with this plague that he has been infected with and he hasnt done anything less then show how much heart a player can really have...most nfl quarterbacks would have curled up into a corner and died, but chad remains positive and motivated to come back from his 3rd consecutive injury and 2 shoulder surgeries...who else could do that?? Chad may throw the occasional lame duck, but when his leadership combined with his accuracy and decision making come into play, there isnt a better quarterback to put on the field...take away the injury, who really is a better quarterback? if you say Ramsey you live with a very sad case of denial!
Saying Chad throws the occasional duck is like saying Paris hilton occasionally get passed around Hollywood. I'm betting Ramsey starts.
What's a rookie? Someone that hasn't played an NFL season? Well...it's not like Chad has every completed one, so he has something in common.
