I think he went 3 for 30 receiving today. Seems whenever they get him the ball with a yard or two separation from nearest defender something good always happens.

Well you can't do it all the time, otherwise they'll be ready for it and send a linebacker to smash leon. You have to disguise plays designed for Leon as other things. Also he's a human being, and a small one at that. You can't throw 10 screen passes to him a game because he's going to get worn out and lose his effectiveness.

Yeah, something we never see enough of from Chad. Short passes.

I said this on another thread.

The OC does not use enough plays that chip at the edge of the flat.

(Like Hackett when he was OC).

    Watch Indy play.

They line up in 3 wide, and run to Wr's straight down the field, and then either the TE From the Strong Side, or the RB from behind, can sprint out 3 yards, and catch the ball and then angle toward the sideline moving diagonally towards the marker.

If the catches the ball, 3 yards out and falls forward, it's 5 yards. two steps and you're looking at short yardage for a first down...

That is how you spread the defense w....i....d....e.... opening up the middle for the plays we run now.
