So I'm in a league that starts 2 hb and 3 wr. I'm set at wr with Marshall, Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson with Roddy White backing up. I'm weak at HB with Jones-Drew, Grant and Reggie Bush. I also have Sammy Morris, so I'm deep at HB but am lacking a good #1. Also, this is a keeper league so young players have a ton of extra value. With that said, would you deal Calvin Johnson and Bush for Addai? If not, would you trade Bush and Roddy White for McGahee?
Definately a no to both. Hold onto Calvin, he's gonna be a top 5 WR this year. And in my opinion Bush > McGahee
dont do those trades. megatron is going to blow up this year. bush may not show alot of RUSHING yards but he makes up for it with atleast 40yds receiving so far this season.
That's a toughie...by week 5 I expect Harrison to be better than Holt by a significant margin. Jacobs is better than Parker right now, and I can only imagine Parker will wear down half-way thru the season. As long as you have Jacobs' backup (Ward or Bradshaw?) I would stick with what you got.
The only significant downside I see to the trade is that the Steelers look prepared to run Willie Parker ragged for the time being. That will translate into a short term gain in your running game, but consider what happens later in the season. Mendenhall isn't getting many carries now, but if the Steelers wrap up the division early (which I expect them to), you go into the playoffs with a #1 RB who may have his carries limited. I don't see the situation with Jacobs changing much as the season wears on, especially if the Giants continue to compete in a tough NFC East and have the playoffs in sight. I'm not sure what to make of Harrison right now, but Manning has switched off to Reggie Wayne in a big way, and now Anthony Gonzalez. Harrison wasn't getting many looks with Dallas Clark out of the game. Imagine what happens when he has 3 other receiving options and a banged up Harrison. On the other hand, Holt is really the only option in St. Louis. If the Rams start utilizing Jackson and McMichael better, you may see more production for Torry Holt. If not, it's a bum trade. I say if you feel you have enough depth for later in the season, you'll see immediate dividends making that trade.
