Nice afternoon game on getaway day. Yankees are looking for their second straight series sweep.

    Gil Meche 9-4 3.87 ERA

    vs.

    Randy Johnson 10-7 5.06 ERA

It ended up being a long night last night so lets see who has come to play and who is on the plane already.

What time did the game end last night?

12 hours from Melky's home run.

    These guys may be tired.

Guiel seems to be a nice little find. He looks like he can hit, and field. I'm liking him considering it's not really costing the Boss much.

Green deserves to get some time but I do wish Cano was back.
Also Dotel pitched again last night and might be up with the club in a week or so depending on his next outing.

Posada is scratched. Stinnett gets the start and bats 9th.

How can he catch today when he is supposed to be in training for the GM job?

Both the Mariners and Yanks go 3 up and out in the 3rd.

RJ gets the rookie catcher to end the inning without any further damage.
He was so close to getting the ERA under 5. Now he has to wait a bit.

Damon lines out. Melky up. Yankees have done nothing so far against Meche.
