You are the head chief of the local Police Dept. You make $100,000 per year. You get a report that there was a bank robbery. You flee to the scene with your fellow five subordinates, who all used to play for the New York Jets. You find an ex-Viking, Adrian Peterson running down the alley after robbing a bank vault of $200,000 in cash. You must select one of your beloved employees to tackle AP down at a single attempt. If AP runs over your guy, the $200,000 is lost, and you get fired from your job and can no longer feed your wife and 3 kids. All your employees know the danger involved in trying to tackle Adrian Peterson. If they were to be asked to complete this mission, they wouldn't do it for free. They all want a one time commission, out of your own pocket. David Harris wants $30,000 for this attempt. Darelle Revis wants $25,000 for this attempt. Bart Scott wants $20,000 for this attempt. Jim Leonard wants $15,000 for this attempt. Vernon Gholston is a good samaritan after having robbed the Jets during his play day, and now would attempt this mission for just McDonalds lunch. As the police chief, with your job on the line, what's your call?
David harris i guess because he would be able to do it. Otherwise I'm just wasting money. Probably wouldnt really pay him. Id tell him to sue me and fire him. Probably would arrest them all too afterwards for Dereliction of duty or something. Not sure what the point of this is.
I'm going with Darelle Revis cause when it comes to money he's serious. At worst case we're getting the money back.
You will be fired then. Peterson vs. Leonhard = lololol David Harris. I would take Revis normally but he is gimpy as shit right now. And Harris is bigger. By the way, this thread is awesome.
I better be compensated more than that if I was chief of Police, 100,000 wouldn't get me through half the year.
I personally think those "i like beer" options are too played out and stupid, but thanks for your input.
chiefs don't get fired, their subordinates do. cops don't get "extra" for doing dangerous stuff (they don't get paid for doing dangerous stuff; they get paid b/c they'll do it if necessary). EX-viking robbing a bank means he's fallen on hard times, and therefore probably all methed up and out of shape. easy tackle. anyways...leonhard. sure tackler.
And someone that posts... Play day? Is not mentally equipped for the rigors of posting threads. Thanks for robbing all of us for 5 minutes of our lives we're never getting back.
if your minutes are so precious and they're better spent outside of this thread, see yourself out. It's really that simple. Whether I agree that your 5 minutes are valuable at all? That's really another topic. Bye bye. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
Harris is the best tackler of course, but Bart has to be the best value. And Hobbes, lighten up. I think it's an amusing thread. Not everything has to be dead serious discussion.
