    His football intelligence.

    He realizes without Calvin Pace, he doesn't have a good coverage linebacker. So on third down, he lines up Eric Smith as a LB, and has him cover the TE.

    Multiple times this season Smith has shut down the TE on third down, and it is really good.

    Just another way how Ryan knows his team and how to utilize them!

    Can't wait to see Pace back. Next week will be a huge test.

    RR is doing an amazing job so far. He makes adjustments, it is quite refreshing.

    I agree that having Smith cover the TE is a smart move, but it has nothing to do with Pace being in there or not. Pace is not exactly a cover LB, he's a pass rusher.

    Yes it is so great seeing adjustments being made. We haven't seen any in about 8 years.

    Eric Smith has been covering TE's since he' gotten here.....
    Nothing new but I'd rather have that then having a slower LB do it...

    I had a Giant's fan recently tell me that besides the fact that he respects Rex for his football expertise, and the attitude he brings to the game, he likes him because he's "regular guy sized". :cool:

    after the 4th and 23 to end the game....the camera went to REX as he utters "F*CK YOU"
    and takes his head set off.....gave me chills

    RR has been the best thing that happened to us since Parcells.

    After the past few seasons with Mangina, RR is what we needed...
