Jets Declare Inactives For Week 4

The New York Jets have declared the following players inactive for today's game against the New Orleans Saints: CB Lito Sheppard, CB Donald Strickland, QB Kevin O'Connell, LB Ryan Fowler, OG Matt Slauson, DE Ropati Pitoitua, DT Howard Green and QB Erik Ainge. Ainge is also #3 emergency QB.
Both Sheppard and Strickland are out for the second week in a row. CB Dwight Lowery will again start in place of Sheppard, while CB Drew Coleman will replace Strickland at nickel. Rookie OG Matt Slauson is yet to be active this season.
