Look at picture #8 (Pennington). That is bad form. That is why he has shoulder problems. Compare it to picture #7 (Clemens). He has a tight compact delivery.
You can't say that , the 2 pictures are taken at different points of delivery. He is also still coming back off the injury.
Grab a football and simulate a simple pass. Does your arm ever extend like that? Go to the Bollinger picture. He doesn't even do it. The way Pennington is throwing in that picture pains my shoulder looking at it.
You could say that they are all over extending , but it is a snapshot of a fluid movement and IMO you cannot isolate a single frame and say that it doesn't look right (most of the time). The one QB who always looked odd when he threw though was Boomer , I always thought he looked like he had his helmet on the wrong way around.
There is no doubt that not every QB has a textbook motion. But the aforementioned (or showcased) QBs never had a shoulder problem like Pennington. I am surmising that maybe this is one of the reasons why Pennington may suffer from chronic flimsy shoulder.
Yeah. It was a beauty. One of the writers based Clemmons' performance as bad based on that pick, which made no sense since it was a super athletic play.
It sure is. It reminds me of Coleman (The, now, Texan and nearing the end of his career). Coleman was a great Jet though.
Great work with the pictures. It looks very hot over there, and the pictures are making be feel sweaty: must be murder carrying around all that padding in that type of weather.
