Reminds me of what he did against us when he played on Boston.

I can't imagine why they would take Hughes out with the way he is pitching. What are they saving him for? I would let him start the 7th and maybe take him out if he lets somebody on base. It looks like he wants Chamberlain to pitch two and Rivera 1. If that's the case, how much would Chamberlain have for tomorrow?

I'm surprised they're leaving Westbrook in

Could anyone have realistically expected any more than that from Westbrook?

If the Yankees can win this one they should have no problem with Byrd tomorrow either. They killed him during the regular season. I hope they go with Wang. He will be a little tired which will make his sinker better. He was obviously too strong in game one and couldn't get it down. That would setup Pettitte against Sabathia which I think would be the perfect matchup.

Well, yeah, except that, as 3rdand15 pointed out last night, Yankee hopes were very much alive after CC and Fausto were out of the rotation.

I LOVE this part of playoff baseball. Where managers start sending starting pitchers to the bullpen and getting creative with their last options.
