First thing that came to mind yesterday was, if Lovie sucks this year, maybe, Da Bears bring in Shanahan for a reunion?

It was his second year as a full time starter. And poor defense isn't just about points on the board. If you have a poor defense, it really takes away one facet of your offense at times (run game) and you constantly have poor field position. How many 72 yard drives can one team have in a game?

lol, thats how I felt about Cutler. He never effing could win unless his D gave up less than 21 points per game

your the one that stated the bears weren't going anywhere, even with cutler. i merely called you on it.
as far as who cares, i obviously do. i think cutler is the real deal and so i'll keep an eye on the bears to see how they do.
as far as denver not being willing to trade to the afc, i've only just this morning been reading about it. had too much work to do last night to catchup on the trade.

i was hoping for a cutler deal, now i guess we're just back to the same old jets! hoping for a miracle that we have the franchise already on the team. i doubt it!!!

    "Called me out"?

Wow. whatever. I stated my opinion. You are reading way too much into little comments on here.

Did you even read my response to that post? Can you ever admit you don't know what the hell you're talking about? "That's just how I feel" is no excuse for ignorance.

Why don't you keep both eyes on him? Oh, but I'm sure you'll be a big Jets fan again if we start winning this season.

I have just never heard of somebody "calling" someone on a prediction unless the prediction is proven wrong. Which in this case, barring a sudden jump in time to January 2010, nothing can be proven.

I'm done with it, just found your comment to be strange. We are getting off topic here, so back on course.

This is very entertaining! Here's to hoping that the draft talk on hear doesn't wipe out the Cutler talks.

like most, i hope ratliff turns into a brady and we have ourselves our franchise qb. i just think chances are so slim, especially when people are basing their high hopes on play against third string hacks.

last preseason, quite a few of the third string qb's looked like world beaters playing against third stringers. teams play straight up basic defense's, which a high school qb could read.

some people need to be reminded what third string qb's aren't playing against.. scheme's make a world of difference, something rat has yet to see...

it's just been this way for way too many years. perhaps it's time for the jets front office to make a bold move! something a little bolder than a favre type move..

and that move would be? hmm, maybe they could pry Peyton Manning away from the Colts by offering B. Thomas.

You have to know that Tanny is looking under all rocks for a QB, he has made that very very obvious.. Sometimes there just aren't enough QBs to find or the ones that are available are under rocks that are too big to move.

Trading three Draft Picks for a Franchise QB that doesn't have question marks around him IS A NO BRAINER.

    This is NOT that QB.

    Two Words: Jeff George
