Giants have the best rotation in the NL West.

Lincecum, Cain, Sanchez, Zito, someone else.

Don't give me shit about Zito, he had a good second half, which hopefully will translate to a good start.

    Ken Rosenthal:
Sources: Mariners have reached tentative agreement to trade Brandon Morrow to Blue Jays for B. League and prospect.

I do not like this deal AT ALL. League had alot alot of potential, I really liked him.

They're basically the same player, only Morrow can also start. I mean really, they're even both named Brandon.

Morrow has a rediculous injury history. League had the 1 injury 2 years ago, but Morrow is a walking time bomb, ready to hit the DL at any time.

I thought Morrow had a much higher ceiling until the M's started fucking with him.

I am, but I can't lay my thoughts on a team within the division?

No, I didn't mean it like that. It just seemed strange the way you said you really liked League and didn't like the trade. It sounded more like you were a Jays fan.

Ahhh, no, I'm not a Jays fan at all. I just liked Brandon League and thought he had a good future, and him being in Toronto meant that I was able to see him pitch more.

    That's all.

I've been hearing for the last couple days that the Padres are close to dealing 3B Kevin Kouzmanoff to either the Twins or the Giants.

Chase Headley would take over at third for San Diego.

Also, as much as I'd hate to see this happen, the Red Sox will eventually end up with Adrian Gonzalez.

AGon won't be traded until July, I've read. Maximizes his value, lets the Pads get some out of him, etc...

Kouzmanoff to SF would be nice, good fit too. I just don't want to see a top prospect or rotation guy like Sanchez go for him.

You're right...Gonzalez won't be traded right away, but he will end up in Boston...probably for Bucholtz and a few other prospects.

I think the Giants are offering OF Fred Lewis and OF Kevin Frandsen. Lewis make a little sense, but Frandsen has almost no value at all.

If they traded Kouz, it would have to be to the Twins, who are offering lefty Glen Miller.

Lewis and Frandsen? Brutal. I hope the Pads take it, just because that would be another black eye on the franchise.

Definately a shock... have to think that means they'll be shopping Harang or Arroyo. If this guy can develop as expected they'll have some nasty pitching. Volquez is 26 , Cueto is 23 and now Chapman who is 21. Throw in Bruce, Votto and Drew Stubbs and they could compete in 2 years. They also have Rutgers stud Todd Frazier who had a great season in double A last year. One of my best friends is a Red Legs fan so he is pissing his pants over this.

As a Mets fan I just can't help but laugh.. if it takes a freaking revolt by the players to get Omar fired I will support it. Sad to see Delgado leave if true but he belongs in the AL so he can DH a few games a week. As for Molina...fuck him and thank god it's not the Mets signing this chop.
