    Agreed on the overmanaging. No need for this.


    And I want Joe Morgan/Jon Miller and Tim McCarver/Joe Buck to fight a death match. Losing team dies (of course). Winning team merely has their larynx removed.

    I would pay serious money to see that.

    Miller would be better if he wasn't paired with Joe Morgan. ESPN's baseball coverage is a trainwreck. To be honest, I don't mind Buck and McCarver so much anymore--they used to drive me up the wall, but I've become accustomed to them after all this time. Plus, while I once thought that they were the worst announcing team imaginable, unfortunately Chip Caray and Ron Darling came along to show me how deep the rabbit hole goes.

    I like the move to go to Mariano, by the way. With a runner in scoring position in the 8th, you want your best guy on the mound if at all possible. Mo was warm, why not?

    Jepsen's got a gun, that's an impressive fastball.
