If it rains any harder, I'll bet the umps will suspend the game and pick it up tomorrow.

Rosenthal: "It was coming hard and cold on his face"
McCarver: "It looked like there were thousands of balls coming down."

    Thanks Fox.

    Leadoff walks are...troubling.

I think they just showed a replay of the wrong pitch.

Laz Diaz blows the call on the first pitch to Figgins. Well high and he called it a strike. Figgins winds up singling.

Holy fuck I hate Figgins. I hope the Washington Nationals sign him next year. Asshole.

Intentional walk to Abreu, and Posada actually did a pump fake at second on the second ball.

i don't want to argue this to much but he was straddling the bag.i bet there's been 200 d.p. calls like that this season..you can't make that call in that stage of the game

If hes touching the bag= out

If hes not touching the bag = safe

I dont know what is so hard to understand. Why let 200 fuck ups change the rules of the game for everyone. He has to touch the base, plain and simple....

No. I'd be willing to bet almost anything that all of those other dp calls were ones where the middle infielder at least ghosted over the bag.

    That one was obvious.

    A-Rod is clutch. Solo shot.

Disagree. Usually, the infielder at least touches the bag at some point during the play.

    A-Rod does it again!

Fuentes is getting everything called a strike by the way, I think the umps are afraid of the rain.
