Then those plays weren't "neighborhood" calls and there would be no debate in the first place. There are plenty of similar plays and it is very rare indeed that the middle infielder doesn't get the call. The precedent for that type of play has been set again and again.

This is exactly what I said to someone else. You might allow an extra step off the dribble... but they'll call a pivot foot moving, if they see it.
