Gardner should've started against Weaver, Melky has horrible career numbers against him and his struggles today have kept LAAAAAAA in the game. It's not just his fault though, the whole bottom of the order is sucking.

Damon goes deep and the Yankees lead 3-0 on three solo homers.

I'd like someone to sit Hideki Matsui down and explain to him what a DH's job is.

I guess the one good thing to come out of the Jets craptaculous collapse is that it brought jonnyd back to the Baseball forum.

Did you see the look on Scott Boras' face after each home run? He's thinking "I'm getting 30% of everything these f*ckers make!"

People. We talk about Jeter. We've been talking about ARod. There are so many names in Yankees history that came up big in October, but I honestly feel like Pettitte just doesn't get enough credit for his postseason work.

Andy is just awesome. Always has been. How often do you honestly say "Yeah, I'd want him to come back for another year" for a 37 year old athlete? Especially one whose job is to throw.
