PS - How does this work? If the game is scheduled for 8PM will they try to play it tomorrow anyway, i.e...starting at 12 AM Saturday morning?
playing well does not mean team of destiny. team of destiny is used to refer to something occurring out of the ordinary that then triggers tremendous play and success. if the Angels win, they would be a team of destiny which is related to the death of their pitcher. the Yankees didn't do anything except what they always do, go get free agents. just because it may work this year doesn't make that an abnormal circumstance. if you are going to use a cliche term, use it appropriately. by your logic, every team that wins is a team of destiny because they played well. if that is the case, then the term becomes meaningless. I stand corrected.
Since everybody in the world knows the Yankees should always have a top team because their owners are willing to spend the most money, and they will should play the most games of any team in October and early November, why the freak did they not put a retractable dome on the new Yankee Stadium? Whats another 100 million? Don't they pay that much in salary every year to Arod, Jeter, Tex and CC?
