I don't give a fuck if it's a "make up" call. Swisher was called safe on the pickoff attempt, for whatever reason. He didn't tag up early. Ugh.
No, you can totally get mad. Just because the second base ump does a shitty job doesn't mean that the 3rd base ump should sink to his level to try and appease the crowd. These playoffs have been great so far, but the umpiring has been in an issue in seemingly every game.

I was just discussing this with someone a few weeks ago. The umpires aren't always looking themselves, so how are they supposed to make a call on whether he tagged early? They definitely don't a lot of the time in softball, and they sometimes don't in MLB as well.
I just hope Swish doesn't change his timing cause he actually has it down pact. That should be "Reviewable" but fuk em.
