Unlikely. No other game matches up one team with both a dominant offense and passable defense against a team that's offense only.
He has had an awesome year actually. The cards fans love him. He tied an all time record for landing punts inside the 20 with about 30 less punts than the guy he tied with. He also didn't have a touchback since about week 3. Very unlucky not to go to the pro bowl.
Yes we did give up on him a little early... had a great 1st year. Weatherford has been good on the fakes but I think Graham would have been very succesful on them as well. I don't think Weatherford is all that good as a punter though.
If only Mangini/Westhoff could have learned to live with his kicking style. I'm not sure who objected to it but I still have no idea why they asked him to change it. San Diego delenda est.
Shit I am really going to miss Warner's god speech. Shit why did New Orleans have to win. It just isn't fair where is god at this moment. Does he care?
We could have gotten a nice pick for another player, I am very happy with Harris and Scott but Vilma had value.
No, we got a pick that helped get us Shonn Greene. It was our only 3rd rounder last year thanks to the Favre trade.
Why? He was a poor fit, his numbers were declining, and we ended up with a guy who VERY directly contributed to our 1st round win last week and looks to be the future of our running game.
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/100115/two SAINTS (-7) over Cardinals Key Player: Kurt Warner. I agreed with the Vegas wise guy who quipped in Chad Millman's column last week, "I wish I could bet [the Cardinals] at the five-minute mark in the first quarter." So true. Warner is like a Vegas blackjack dealer -- you don't know for a couple of hands, but as soon as you know, you know. Can he play two fantastic games in a row? Possible Playoff Doppleganger: Rams 45, Packers 17 (Jan. 20, 2002). A veteran star QB with an explosive offense takes on a high-scoring team in a dome ... and gets blown out of the building. The Pick: New Orleans 40, Arizona 20.
Bill Cowher in the halftime show of the Jets game called Sedrick Ellis "Shaun Ellis". They also were just about counting the Jets out, talking about next week with the four great QBs (Favrasaurus, Peyton, Brees, and Rivers).
