3rd and short with him at QB. Obvious situation for the keeper, and Chicago was absolutely comically unprepared. Inexcusable and sort of embarrassing.
The Bears. They had way more expectations going into the season despite not having an elite receiving corps.
I logged on to mention that. An Eagles defender basically pantsed him on Chicago's final drive. It went unmentioned, either intentionally or just because they somehow didn't see it.
I ahve to agree there. THe Bears got a tested NFL QB. The Jets entered a season with a rookie at QB. THe Scary thing for the bears is them not being able to run the ball and the Defense imploding. This is a team on the way down, not the way up IMO.
I agree that the Bears are much more disappointing than the Jets; the only reasons anyone is saying anything about the Jets is the (supposed) big mouths of the coach and some players (which I think is vastly overstated), and the fact that they started 3-0 (which I find funny - would it have been better to start 0-3?). No one has mentioned something about the Chicago-Philly game that I thought was noteworthy. After the game McNabb talked to Cutler on the field for 2 or 3 minutes, giving him advice on how to handle adversity (you could actually hear some of it from the on-field microphone). I thought it was a very classy thing to do.
Rofl, I saw that too and I love how the commentators were just silent after, they probably were holding back a laugh.
I never realized how tall Vince Young is, for some reason I've always thought he was 6'2ish, but he is 6'5.
Unless he is getting picks for me on my online franchise I hate him, he is very overrated. A big playmaker but an average cover corner, like Samuel and Cromartie.
