Chris Johnson becomes the sixth player ever to crack 2K rushing, after already having broken Faulk's single season record for yards from scrimmage. Tennessee's game plan today was just to keep giving him the ball and to see how many yards he could compile.
Idk I disagree. His situation is similar to Dick Jaurons--a string of consecutive 7-9 seasons. Granted Kubiaks two prior seasons were 8-8 and now a 9-7. Hes had some gut wrenching losses this season similar to the past couple seasons, they just can't seem to get over the hump.
It's really a shame because that team has been playing very hard since they got their asses handed to them by us. All kidding aside the Raiders may just be a QB from becoming respectable again. Not saying SB contenders but certainly in the WC mix. I just find it comical how Russell can sabotage a team again and again and again and again.
They are still very close though. They were a Kris Bown FG away from knocking off the Colts. They also lost a tight game to the Titans. They are like us; a work in progress. They very easily could be 11-5. With Baltimore looking like they will win and Denver looking like they will lose it's amazing to think that the game way back in week one between the Jets and Texans could end up deciding who gets into the playoffs and who doesn't.
I know but they're not as terrible as people say. Those guys are playing hard and Russell is killing them on a weekly basis. oakland still has a chance...
No, Phil, Ray Lewis hitting the ground 3 yards from where Russell is standing (and looking in the opposite direction) had nothing to do with a bad pass - the fact that he's a horrible QB did.
Denver in danger of joining bad company in starting the season 6-0 and missing the playoffs. The last two teams to do it were the 2003 Vikings and the 78 Redskins. At least now the Giants didn't have the most embarrassing 2nd half. What's worse is the Broncos have collapsed two years in a row disproving the myth that only the Mets could be that bad.
