let me get this straight. you guys are cheering because a guy that the jets cut went somewhere else and turned out to be good. he takes a hard hit and everyone gets excited. no wonder the rest of the league hates jets and jets fans and love the fact its been over 40 years since the jets have done anything

The closest thing to cheering is this. It was a beautiful hit, there did appear to be helmet to helmet collision but it wasn't malicious. Most people who enjoy football enjoy watching anybody get jacked up like that.
It wasn't a cheap shot by any stretch of the imagination. Helmet to helmet contact? Sure. He paid the price for not keeping his head on a swivel. Shit happens.

You are wrong. It was a clean hit on a football play. He wasn't a defenseless receiver after a catch or a QB. No fine. There wasn't even a flag.
