Hate how Houston is not throwing the ball. I need Yates to put up some points. He just threw a pick on 3rd and 13... way to put your young QB in a position to succeed.
Never said he hasn't, but that wasn't the point. In 4 of the 5 games in which he's had his so-called clutchness of 4th-quarter comebacks, the Giants had scored 14, 10, 10, and 10 points through 3 quarters. Only in the Dallas game had he played decently before the 4th quarter. So far he's been horrible today, which is exactly consistent with my point - if you play well for the first 3 quarters, 4th quarter comebacks are usually unnecessary. Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, and Tom Brady together have four 4th-quarter comebacks this year - does anyone want to argue that Eli has played as well as any of them?
Fair enough but I think overall Manning has been generally lauded for his overall play, not just his performance in the fourth quarter
If he had an overall good play, then either the defense sucked some royal goat balls or 4th quarter comebacks are not necessary. Some things don't add up there, no?
I might have agreed with that until last week, but after the comeback against Dallas, every one of the sports TV shows was debating who was clutcher - Tebow or Manning. That is what I was referring to. Hey, I feel the same way about Sanchez - most of the 4th-quarter comebacks he's had are not all that impressive to me, since they came after horrifically bad play in the first 3 quarters. Obviously I'm glad they happened, but I'd much prefer being up by 21 points in the 4th quarter and cruising home than a stirring comeback.
AJ Green shoulder injury. Green Bay has been punting all game. One missed (54 yard) FG as well. getting their punting unit ready for the playoffs
Fair enough, I've been removed from what the pundits have been saying (pretty much just Boomer cus that's what I listen to in the morning, Carton's a moron).
the following games still have no touchdowns: GB/KC CIN/STL TEN/IND and all of them are about to hit halftime
He's having a great year, but it annoys me he's lauded and it seems like Romo has been ripped on when in fact Romo is having a BETTER season than Manning in terms of TDs, picks, comp %, etc.
Going for the touchdown on 4th and 1? What an idiotic playcall. A bootleg might have been a touchdown there.
