Just to show how bad the East is, their All Star team is one of the worst All Star teams ever seen in the NBA. East: Carmelo Anthony - Knicks LeBron James - Cavaliers Pau Gasol - Bulls John Wall - Wizards Kyle Lowry - Raptors Chris Bosh - Heat Jimmy Butler - Bulls Al Horford - Hawks Kyrie Irving - Cavaliers Kyle Korver - Hawks Paul Millsap - Hawks Jeff Teague - Hawks Bosh, Korver, Carmelo... LeBron probably the only guy who's actually a top 10 player. And four Hawks! They've been very good, but they're hardly an all-time great team. When was the last time a team had four All Stars? If they took the entire NBA and chose 12 players (I guess first and second team NBA is 10, close enough), how many players from the East would make it?
Tell me I didn't make a stupid prop bet on tonight's AS game. James Harden total points 27.5 I took the under.
I dunno The entire floor is filled with James Hardens tonight "defense" means slowly walk back to the court, then stand and watch the other team get A)A dunk B)A layup C)A wide open 3 it's amazing. It's one think to be less intense on defense but they just literally stand and watch
It's actually fun betting on WWE, being scripted and all lol. It just sucks ruining the results for yourself.
Westbrook 27 LeBron 22 Harden 15 Klay Thompson 1/8 FG 83-82 West two fouls in the first half, one was on a three pointer, just to inflate the scoring some more
Honest question. If the outcome is not in doubt, scripted as it were, what's to prevent the mob or the betting parlors from deciding that all the money is on Hulk Hogan so we're going to make Bruno Samartino win and break the bank? All the rest that you mentioned are still in doubt and the outcome isn't scripted. Seems rife with corruption. _
I don't Today is my birthday. My betting website gave me 25 bucks bonus and I wanted to use it on something tonight. Not following NHL at all so this was my only choice and I thought this was a safe bet but motherfucker Harden has 23 points and still around 9 minutes to go. I hope he doesn't get to 28. I don't like the guy already. If he scores more than 28 I will hate hate hate him.
Well they don't release the results or anything. If you're a smart fan, you'll probably know though. Typically a few hours before a ppv, the insiders who get the card, script, plan, etc. bet heavy on the winners, and the line changes dramatically, like -6000 dramatically. Then they probably get some suckers to bet on the +3000 lines to get money back. You're right though, it does seem flawed. Ps. I actually lost some bets on the R.R. I made a mistake by placing my bets 2 weeks early, figuring I knew exactly what would happen. Then the day came and the favorites I had money on all flipped. Sometimes, actually lots of times they change plans last minute. So I should have known better, but you can't wait until last minute, because the lines aren't realistic to bet on as I aforementioned.
No I meant the guys rigging the plot must be in cahoots with the Vegas books making the odds. Don't the casinos just call up the venue 3 mins before the match and say "make sure Snukka Fly takes a dive". _
