Oh my God, what a joke - yet another ridiculous personal foul call. I am actually someone who agrees with the protections against injury, but these calls are absurd.
Pats had it both ways. Benefited from a pretty soft call against Jones. Then, a little while later (inexplicably), the refs didn't throw a flag when Jones was hit well after whistles had blown a play dead. I do think the refs get no-calls right, most of the time. We just don't think about them.
Jameis Winston with a torn ACL and MCL damage in his left knee. Sean Payton claims that the injury was because his leg got stuck on the artificial turf. No word yet on who will be the new QB, other than that they won't be looking for another QB. Winston was doing pretty well in his comeback (14 TDs and 3 interceptions), but this is a big blow not only to the Saints, but to his career.
Watching Daniel Jones and I'm reminded that he threw for 402 yards in a win back in October. He led them to an improbable win too.
He does not. And when Kelce and Co. are gone we will really see how good he is. KC has a ton of money invested in him.
He really has - he's missing easy passes, isn't even close on long passes, and is holding on to the ball way too long. He just threw an easy pass into the ground that would have been a TD, and then took a terrible sack and fumbled, luckily for him recovered by a teammate.
