I normally never bet against the Jets but you have to take the Panthers here.

There’s almost no one here and half of the people here are Carolina fans. I didn’t even know they existed in general let alone in the tri state area.

It absolutely blows my mind that when a season is already gone at 0-6, you don't just move to a gameplan of a bag of tricks and gadget plays. We don't have many (any) strengths but the playcalling isn't getting the best out of anyone and there's nothing here for the fans either. The last two weeks have been two of the most boring games I've ever witnessed.

No they did that too much. Going for it too much, trying weird flea flickers. Throwing it deep to a WR who can’t catch

It was a 1 score game and they ignored the best player on the team.

Just line it up and run it with Breece Hall.

today was the first time I thought they might legitimately be tanking on purpose cause that was weird

There were a few times I thought that too. I'm not convinced they are trying to win, and that's fine. I couldn't care less, i just want improvement.

If they lay an egg next week, which is typical jets after a competitive loss, back to square one.

Fair point, maybe I should have qualified that with the right play for the right personnel. Fields has been bad but I don't think he's actually this bad - he's probably benched for the season now but I don't think we've helped him at the same time he hasn't helped himself.

Not really sure what you can even say at this point. The entire experiment has been an abject failure. The quarterback somehow has ended up being arguably the worst quarterback we’ve had in the last 10 years, the head coach routinely proves he has no idea what he’s doing and the roster is the worst in the NFL.

failure at every single level. I guess the defense is starting to look coherent? Really hard to find a single positive when there are so many negatives.

The good teams always seem to have an outlet TE or RB on passing plays that they are more than happy to go to if there is nothing open downfield. I don't see that with the Jets offense. Seems to be all or nothing with them.

the thing that blows my mind is even those teams running with back-up QBs or back-ups to back-ups do better than we do with our starter - you have people like Dalton, Wentz and Flacco with a combined age of almost 1,000 years, who have had no real reps and one of whom was on another team all together recently all looking way better than anything we can put on the field

This feels like the 30th year in a row it looks like the Jets are playing a different sport than every other team. We just can never move the ball or score consistently on offense.

What really gets me is Woody knows the offense has been a disaster forever, he's even said as much, but he keeps hiring the types of coaches that don't elevate the offense. It just makes absolutely no sense.

The defense looks ok but you have to wonder if these teams are just squatting on the ball knowing they can score 13 points (in back to back weeks) and win.

The green over white uniform set may be the best in the league.

    Best I can do.

I absolutely feel a little bit of this last weekend this week. All they have to do is put the ball to us and preserve a one score lead to win. But I also do think they have been playing better, that being said where the hell is the pass rush? Is McDonald even suiting up? And Stephens was back to being dogshit this week.

Justin Fields is a nice kid... but he's not a quarterback.

He's just not cut out for it... no leadership whatsoever.

what’s annoying is this was already very obvious before we decided to sign him and piss away entire season trying to make him something he isn’t.

I'm reminded again of comments from Hughes/Rosenblatt a few weeks ago saying the Jets don't really have any type-A players. There are no real vocal leaders, go getters, trend setters, etc. Everyone is just along for the ride.

We are a franchise full of losers from top to bottom.

The only way I see Glenn coming back next year is if he fires his OC. The jets need to draft a QB (obviously) and pick up a better veteran QB than Taylor. Cut Fields, eat his contract, and don't bring Taylor back.
Never seen the jets have such a pathetic offense, and Glenn bears responsibility for the OC hire. They need a new OC, 2 new QBs, and 2 new receivers to help Wilson, at a minimum. Good grief!
