I think we have to carry 5 anyways. Coles, McCarreins and Cotchery are locks. We signed Tim Dwight to be our return man and we have to keep Brad Smith or else we wouldn't have drafted him. I mean who would we cut?
I think this will be close to it. I would be so happy if Washington (safety) was cut. Waste of a roster spot if you ask me. I am very dissappointed they did not keep Kenyatta Wright. The guy is just phenomenal on STs and a pretty decent backup LB. I really liked the way he played and his attitude. A shame really.
Actually I agree. I was thinking this earlier and the more I think the more I can't understand what he is bringing to the team. We have two good young safeties (Coleman and Rhodes) a high draft pick in Smith who looks like a huge hitter and Maddox who didn't get a chance to show anything last year due to injuries but should get at least one more shot to stay healthy. Trouble is, if I took him off my 53 man team who would get the spot? Probably either a guard or some kind of D-Line maybe that dude with the wicked long name at NT.
